So I'm driving my kids to school today, listening to the Glenn Beck radio show and I hear them discussing this non-issue of what Foster Friess said last night about contraception.
I am completely floored.
This is really a big deal? Really? Hasn't every single grandmother or grandfather offered this exact same advice to their grandkids at some point in time? And now it's being criticized as sexist (at best)? What is wrong with this world?! Oh, I know what's wrong with it…Chris Matthews, that's what's wrong.
Below is my Audioboo expressing my point of view; I've also included Foster Friess' statement and Rick Santorum's response. Seriously people, don't we have more important things to get upset over these days?
UPDATE: The Glenn Beck crew had a good point; doesn't nearly every vile rapper and comedian who makes their fortunes on calling women hos and whores enthusiastically and openly support Barack Obama? Yet, it's perfectly ok for women to vote for Obama? A little old man makes a joke about contraceptives, insinuating personal responsiblity and chastity and that is something to be angry over…angry enough that they should not support Rick Santorum?
